Queen Elizabeth High School Work Experience Programme
Queen Elizabeth High School in Hexham has launched its 2026/27 Year 10 Workplace Experiences Programme. The programme is designed to support 45 Year 10 students with meaningful employer engagement, workplace experiences and employability development, and focuses on those children who may not otherwise get access to professional opportunities.
QEHS is asking local employers to come into school to speak with students at various points in the next academic year. The programme includes a range of themed events, including ‘Workplace Etiquette’, ‘CV Writing’ and ‘Resilience’. Employers are also asked to consider placements, share their own career pathway or take part in mock interviews.
