Helix Arts is looking for 10 schools near Hadrian’s Wall to host The People’s Tree creative workshops in Autumn 2026 and Spring 2027.

Workshops will combine making and story collecting in response to themes of seeds, hope, nature and the loss of the much-loved Sycamore Gap tree. The work created could become part of a public sculpture and touring exhibition in 2027.

The People’s Tree is a Helix Arts and George King Architects project commissioned by the National Trust.
