What is Discover! Creative Careers Month?

Discover! Creative Careers Month is an industry-led initiative designed to provide young people aged 11-18, from England, with encounters and experiences of the creative industries through in-school, workplace and online opportunities.

In 2025 the Creative Careers Month will be held throughout November.

Schools and Colleges Toolkit

This Toolkit provides a thorough overview of Discover! Creative Careers Month and the various way your school/college can get involved. It covers:

• Creative Industries Overview – a brief introduction to the various sub-sectors within creative i-
• Online resources – an introduction to our industry-led lesson plans and resources that help schools/colleges meet several Gatsby Benchmarks
• Ways to get involved – including an introduction to the online Opportunity Finder
• Guidance for taking part in an event – including some top tips and an overview of the logistics
• Health and safety – some guidance around onsite visits
• My Personal Planner – a worksheet template to support your young people to get the most out of their Discover! Creative Careers Month activities
